Synthaar is a game where Life Simulation meets Grand Strategy. Create your legacy, build your home, business, base and beyond, and accumulate power and wealth to ensure your descendants have a prosperous future under your care. Create your Legacy Create characters from a variety of species, give them unique personalities and have them work together toward a common goal. Build your Headquarters Purchase and settle land on a variety of planets, facing their biomes bravely. Choose to settle near civilization, and certain elements like acquiring food, water, and power are easier, but resources and privacy are scarcer. Grow your Power & Wealth Accumulate credits through careers, crafting, or piracy. Gain power by getting involved with politics, making connections and building your influence over your city, your planet, to the galaxy itself.

The newest patch for Synthaar, V0.0.5, features new biomes, cities, and bug fixes! Also, Synthaar is now on Steam!

I am proud to announce that Synthaar is now on Steam! At current, the game's demo is not available on the Steam store, however wishlisting the game will help keep you up to date on the game's official release schedule, and help the game reach a wider audience!


As well as our new presence on Steam, Synthaar has been updated to Version 0.0.5!

[ADDED]

  • Every Biome now has appropriate environmental settings
  • Sand, snow, and other biomes
  • Randomize buttons for names on character creation
  • Borokene, Hycilix and Milivunne now have cities
  • Galaxy map information now displays accurate data about the selected planet.

[CHANGED]

  • Borokene and Hycilix have their proper biomes set up
  • Planets on the top menu will always be displayed as daytime even if the saved time is night.

[FIXED]

  • Mountain Peaks are no longer an unknown biome
  • Time no longer passes if you visit a lot without a legacy and exit
  • The planet name no longer appears in the character creation screen
  • Double clicking to focus on a character will send you to the map level they are in.
  • Personality Point Capacity no longer vanishes if you switch to another screen in character creation
  • You can no longer paint walls if your cursor is over a UI element
  • Sliding windows will no longer start open and close upon entering a lot
  • Game messages button is no longer visible while building without a legacy.
  • There is no longer a visible path line on planet maps, before loading a lot.

At current, the Synthaar Demo is available on IndieDB and Itch.io.
