Stargate - Empire at War Final 1.3
Installation (Edited by Imperial in 2016):
This is a EAW Version only and won't work with FOC!
Unzip the archive in any folder. Then copy the "GameData/Mods/Stargate" folder into your Empire at War root directory, usually C:/Programme/Lucas Arts/Star Wars Empire at War/GameData/Mods
Then start the mod using the .bat file from inside of the directory .\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData
If you are using the Steam version of EAW please go in your game library in Steam, right-click on Star Wars Empire at War. Select Properties and add "sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate" (without quotes) in launch options. Now the mod should start instead of the normal game if you double click on Star Wars Empire at War.To start the vanilla game remove that code, or change "Stargate" with the name of any other mod directory inside of ./Mods

Copy the whole "GameData" folder into your Empire at War root directory, usually C:/Programme/Lucas Arts/Star Wars Empire at War/ and overwrite all existing files. Then please try to start the Mod using whether the batch file or Steam. This helps if your Game directory is on a extarnal Harddisc/Partition which is not C.
- The Game starts without Sounds/Speech ?
This mod is for German and maybe English, no other languages suported. If you happen to use any other language or your game is set to a different language this is what you can do to get it working,
Please paste the following code into a .txt file and rename its suffix to .bat, then drop that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods\Stargate:
cd..
cd..
IF exist sweaw.exe Start sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate LANGUAGE=ENGLISH
IF exist swfoc.exe Start swfoc MODPATH=Mods\Stargate LANGUAGE=ENGLISH
Then start the Mod using that batch file, you could replace ENGLISH with other languages if it doesent work.
Steam Users please use this code for your Start options as described above:
"sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate Language=ENGLISH"

I think you have a older version then 1.3 where the pegasus gc was not finished. Or you removed the MGM Lion video intro (which breaks the GC Script)

I kind of have the same problem: I tried it, and I can move around the overhead map, but I control no planets what-so-ever.
same for me time it self in the game doesn't work every thing is blocked

No, when you start it, you have litterally nothing under your control, the mission window that pops up at the start of every GC doesnt even come up
No movie at the begining. No mission window. I have control over the earth. But time is frozen, and no one is tere jn the earth except of several ships. I tried to reinstal the mod twice. The complit version,ayd jast last patch. But it stil dos not work.

Do you realy think, I didn't try? It doesn't help. Except of frozen time there is another problem. I have beliskner 303 and 304 ander control, and thats all. I can send them to the midway but becose of frozen time they don't fly anywhere. As much as I can order to build something. But it will never be complite.

Galaxy map is frozen, no planets controlled, and gui buttons do not work on Pegasus GC.

Did you have the mod before installing the 1.3?
If yes, restart the CG and it should work.

but i did not have the old version.... i did but i had to do a system restore... so yeah i didn't have it.

I haven't even tried it as the "official" mod team has nothing to do with it, but only the community.
i have a problem with GC will of the ori, whenever i am at the part to send hammond,sg-1 and bratack to dacara the missions right after that are to build 3 ground structures, a space station level 2, and with the help of the jafa ships free the plant sartours. now i dont know what planet to build the stuff on and i dont get no support from the jafa to free the planet. so if anyone has the same problem or knows how to do this plz tell me.

You have to drop the Stargate mod directory into this folder:
for classic EAW:
.\Star Wars Empire at War\GameData\Mods\
(Each mod has its own "Data" Directory, which mirrors the Data/Gamedata directoy of the mod and the Game executable simply overwrites (it gives the mod files priority) the content of the Mod-Data over the Game-Data.)
And (if you want to apply patches) you are supposed to copy the stargate patches over the "Data" directory of the Mod (NOT the one of the Game), to overwrite them with the patch updates. And this has to be done in the right order: Newest updates over the older ones, aviously.
Finally run the batch file from inside the same directory where the "sweaw.exe" is.
I have tried that, and done it exactly that way, and the mod won't start. It does not matter if I use the .bat file, or if I make my own shortcut with "MODPATH=Mods/Stargate", the game always goes to the vanilla EaW, like the mod is not even there.
Edit - And I have even tried with mod launcher. The launcher sees the Mod, but when I want to start it, the same crap happens...
P.S - This is my first time having this kind of a problem with a mod for EaW, and I have successfully installed and played numerous mods for both EaW and FoC, so I am not exactly a rookie when it comes to installing mods for either of these 2 games.
And the funny thing is that I have also once played this mod, on the same version of EaW, and I had no trouble whatsoever.
I just wanted to play it again and continue my save game in Pegasus galaxy...and then this no-start crap happens :/
P.S 2 - I also vaguely remember that in order to start this mod I had to edit(or rename) something else in the mod files, but I am not sure what or where, since the last time I played this mod was somewhere in 2014 if i am not mistaken.
Im sorry Nothing_1991, the vanilla game starting instead of the mod is one of the annoying issues I dont understand at all. You can bypass this if you overwrite the Data directory of the Vanilla game (better make a copy on your HD). This is a bad thing for the Discspace but it is at least a solution.

no promises. But i guess this week.
got some trouble with the mod. copied everything as instructed, but now I have no more sound, the names are [Missing], and it still looks like starwars. oh, and the texts are in German.

I had the same problem when I tried to reinstall the entire game and put there only a patch 1.3
It helped me to crack a game even if I have original
so, what did you do? stick with v1.2? or update vrom v1.1?

I guess there is no sound because you dont have the german version of the game. You would need to get them uploaded by anyone and to drop them into the right directory, then run a batch script from the same directory as the "sweaw.exe" with the following content:
Start sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate LANGUAGE = English
Or simply try sweaw MODPATH=Mods\Stargate LANGUAGE = English for the case your game expects the german verison which isnt installed, which explains the missing sound.
@Baal I saw some posts in the forum but I dont speak german and the translator really don't make sense, so Im wondering.
Is the Stargate EaW - Final 1.3 (Complete version) Ok? or I would be better just downloading 1.1 then patch to 1.2 and then patch to 1.3 using the Patch?

NO YOU CAN'T. Installing the final 1.3 will destroy your original EaW AND cause some problems in the Mod.
