Hi all,
LiquidBronze here, I was gone for a while, but now I am back to help finish up the remaining VO’s and other odds and ends :) I would like to let you hear a preview of our new Sidorovich, voiced by Eric at Audiomagic. I wanted to also thank all the people who submitted auditions. Eric’s audition really stood out and we are happy with the end result! Impressive, indeed, but why is Sidorovich talking about hunting Strelok? I thought Lost Alpha is taking place before SoC and starring Strelok.

Maybe it`s stupidest question out of the blue, but how hard it would be to find the real Sidorvich voice actor..?
Maybe GSC could help with that..?

we know him, he is an actor, and it would take ages to get past thru his management, not to mention it would cost a lot, which we can not afford atm.
I really like the new voice, fits perfectly for Sid :)
A word of a mere advice..;) Maybe it`s the sample, but he could sound more artistic, more enthusiastic, more grim and maybe tired, not like he`s just reading a script..Then you really hardly could tell the difference..:)
OMG man... I think that it is about the best voice we could get in LA he sounds great. Your ear will get use to it. You will see.
I`m not saying that there is something wrong with the voice in particular..I`m just making a suggestion to make the actor itself sound more intimidating and such. Again, maybe it`s the sample, but he sounds like suddenly Sidorovich became from a shady black market trader to a friendly grandpa...:) Don`t mind me if you find me and my opinion irritating..;)You know..just sayin`..;) I`am in no doubt that I will get used to it(not that I could choose anyway),and I will still praise this mod whatever the Sidorovich would sound like..;)
Who is Sid's original VO, anyway? Neither IMDB nor GSC themselves have been very handy at documenting who voices who.
"Good hunting stalker" needs more work imo. It's pretty underwhelming.

The only wish (recommendation / request or whatever slight whimsy a listener might have) would be to add a note of vexation or impatience into the lines. Sort of "I'm an old fat greedy trader, I don't care what you brought! Unless you're ready to give it for free... Otherwise - get lost, don't stick around!" Because this one sounds a bit too kind, a bit too Santa Clause :) Yet, really good! As if Sid is always in the good mood :)
I agree, he sounds way too kind compared to the Sidorovich we know, the voice is perfect, but the tone in which it's used needs a little bit of work.

Other words, he sounds a little too positive IMO.
I like how he can imitate Sid's original voice (in the English version of the game). Hopefully he can get around his somewhat flat intonation though... there's a lack of liveliness in how he pronounces and stresses certain words, sounds, and ideas, as if he were reading a newspaper aloud to himself, rather than talking to another human being.

Great quality! He sounds enough like the original Sid, but also brings a refreshing new voice.
Maybe more angry attitude, i think it will fit very well. Also some parts, small one, it sound a bit of like Call of Pripyat.
