Tiberium Dusk is a re-imagining of the Kane's Wrath universe in a way I feel better fits canon, as EA did a pretty poor job with the C&C franchise continuity from Tiberium Wars onwards. This mod doesn't change anything with regards to the story but helps add elements to the gameplay that "fill the gaps" and provide a more Tiberian Sun esque experience (including all its flaws and unbalances) and departs away from the Kane's Wrath RTS formula. Still a work in progress, I've made changes to the AI (buffed turtle AI and made brutals harder), made changes to "Militant Squads" which make them work with the timeline of the franchise, changed the "Nod" faction entirely with a new name, as Kane's Wrath "Nod" works more of a splinter faction rather than a true "Brotherhood"; with Marked of Kane being the new face of the faction. There are also numerous changes to GDI and Scrin, especially Reaper 17 and Steel Talons, which make them play significantly differently.

A shame that it's no longer a free-use SW like most often are, but if there really is "more bang for your buck", especially if it can guarantee killing structures that normally survive it such as Conyards/enemy SWs then I can live with it. Again, still a bummer that it requires such an exorbitant amount of money to fire, but again, as long as it delivers its increased destructive potential then, again, it's worth the money to use of course. :>

Oh don't worry about that. Its a monster. :3

This is all part of a stepping stone though to relegating the nuke as Nod's "ultimate" weapon.

In a future update it will have free use superweapons return in the shape of the Multi-Missile and Chemical Missile. The nuke will hold an exclusive spot as a weapon of such power it still costs to use atop of the countdown timer. (So a superweapon in a league of its own)

Ah, i see. So a "pay-to-use" SW that guarantees more powerful destruction, gotcha. :3

Also, the "Cluster Missile" and "Chemical Missile" TS SWs are still fondly remembered by me. heh heh ^-^
Looking very forward to seeing them make a glorious return. <3

Description

Coming soon to the next Tiberium Dusk 1.26 Beta, Nod receives a completely revamped nuclear missile.

Featuring a multi-stage explosion with improved radiation effects and absolutely enormous destructive power; this monstrosity can lay waste to a base with a single hit.

Not without its downsides, this new generation Nuclear Missile takes longer to fire than other faction Superweapons and requires 5000 credits to launch once the timer has depleted.
