Can I enable it on an existing save? And also will it make game more... empty?

Yes, enabling it on an existing save is no problem.

The spawns will spawn normally but be less active. Therefore, it can be said that the zone will feel more deserted.

So why add to the zone's sense of desolation? The goal of this addon is to decrease zone activity and increase FPS. The zone is very active in the original setting because of battle conflict and a high number of roaming stalkers.

Thanks, I will try it out. I myself hate making battlefield deathmatch out of stalker so there is no problem with more desolation.

Nice, what changes of the alife.ltx it includes?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote

Yes, indeed.

The change is the objects_per_update is 14 instead of 20, update_monster_factor is 0.02 instead of 1.0. And enable automatic distance switching (xr_patch.script) for optimizing performance.

There might be some updates to the objects_per_update; Increase or decrease the value, based on how the addon is received by the community.

Hi, eAkman, I am currently using this version of Dynamic Mutants. > Moddb.com

I play with it because in Re:Done i found it that mutants barely spawn even with settings at 1, it first caused crashes becausee the load order was wrong from my pov, so I put Dynamic Mutants Reworked just above both Re:Done, south and north, and it works perfectly fine.

The main purpose to this comment is to figure out if this addon which, I will try just now after uploading my comment, is to have a quick answer if this dos interferes with the Dynamic Mutants work on how mutants spawn throughout the game

Hello Folk.

This addon will not interfere with smart terrain spawning, just the alife settings for stalkers and mutants. So, no issue should arise with dynamic mutations addon.

Perfomance by decreasing population only or there are another fixes?

This addon does not touch on the population setting. The performance is made possible by the automatic distance switching in the alife.ltx file and the nummer of objects_per_update. Read more in previus comment by M3TAL_H4NK

Well, idk about warfare mode. But I think it should be possible to use this addon with that. Not sure if warfare mode uses this a-life setting.

Mah man! This is what I really need and probably the community in general. I use your Redone mods and I love every one of them! Sadly, I kinda got a potato PC and everytime I'm in the REDONE Army Warehouses, FPS suffers a lot due to a lot of Stalker activity in the Warehouses. Can I kindly ask a silly question? How empty the Zone will be with this addon in general? Is it gonna be like Darkscape and Meadow with little to 0 stalkers in Vanilla Anomaly? Other than that, Awesome mod man! Thank you so much!

Thank you. happy to hear that.

Yes, Re:Done does require a somewhat newer PC setup to run smoothly. The spawn of the zone depends on the settings you have in Options: 1.0 for Stalkers or Less. This addon should make less stalker travel on the maps, which is hard to tell because of the randomness of stalker travel in the game, but it will not be like Darkscape and Meadow with little to no stalkers in Vanilla Anomaly...

Does this help with the horrible FPS drop at Jupiter?

Indeed, it ought to provide a higher frame rate, but your PC configuration will ultimately determine this.
