Hello, it's me again, Zeke, here to announce on behalf of the No Life Studios team, that we have received permission to maintain the Pro:Gen ModDB page!
What is Pro:Gen you ask? Pro:Gen is one of the first big enhancement mods for Zero Hour created by DeeZire
Rather than adding a lot of new units, the mod adds "enhances" each faction by adding subtle but noticeable improvements, such as bringing back some content cut from the original game, to provide a fresh new experience, while keeping things true to the original.
Aside from various game enhancements, Pro:Gen is known for its expanded General's Challenge and Campaign, wish is sure to challenge and excite players.
The Pro:Gen "Director's Cut" campaign, includes missions from both Generals and Zero Hour, and even some missions that weren't included in the base game, for a total of 39 missions!
The General's Challenge has been extended so that you now fight all of the other Generals, including Fai and Juhziz who previously didn't have Challenge maps in Zero Hour, and you will fight a unique boss general depending on the faction you choose.
These new boss generals are also playable in skirmish 👍
Along with v2.6 for ZH, we also included v1.9 for Generals
v1.9 adds various enhancements and even new subfactions to Generals, each with a unique set of units, specialties, and support powers.
Atm, we have no plans to update the mods, the purpose of reviving the page is mostly for mod preservation, and to give people an easier way to find the mod.
To this end we are also working to get the mod added to GenLauncher, so look out for that 👍
That's all from me, go download the mod and have fun general 😎
Update: both mods are now available in GenLauncher
Thank you for keeping this mod alive dude!
Nice to see you keeping these relics alive Zeke it provides alot of nostalgia
I learned about computer programming from reading this mod's files back in 2004. It is still my favorite after twenty years

I get it enhancements are all well & good but its a bit dull tbh
