In a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed, your sister has been framed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith — and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story.
Mirror's Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith's world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous.
Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city you will learn how to run.
I've been here for quite a while, thanks for all the answers you've given me over the months, without that and all the tutorials and info this wouldn't have been possible. I started this level back in august, the last couple of weeks I speed things up and worked on it more so now it's finally finished.
Background: In the tutorial level of Mirror's Edge, Merc talks about your fall that took you out of commission for a while. My level is a prologue to Mirror's Edge and explains why she got injured. The level starts off after a long day of work, but it's not over yet because Faith gets a call to do some overtime. You must retrieve a bag inside a building that Celeste hid there because she dropped out, so you need to finish her assignment instead.
V1.1 changes:
- Fixed certain fallzones teleportations. Now dieing from fallheight in between buildings should be rare.
- Fixed damage ending sequence

I'm so sorry you guys haven't been able to download this for years because the link got removed, but here it is. I found it again and have reuploaded it.
Apologies you guys were unable to download this for goodness knows how long because On Mirrors Edge was taken down....this link will work.
I see there are still people interested in modding this game but not sure you're aware that there are actually new modding tools for it, in active development:
Nexusmods.com
There are a lot of things you can edit with it, including fbx export/import for meshes, edit materials, extract/inject textures etc...
You can also edit almost all of the object properties.
Not sure what your current tools cover but hopefully that can be of help.
Ok guys the White City Mod and the Next on the Night mods have been re-uploaded and work.

this game doesnt use Unreal engine 3. it uses frostbite
There are two Mirror's Edge games. This is the first Mirror's Edge, released in 2008, which does use UE3. The Mirror's Edge they announced at E3 will use Frostbite.
Anyone interested in making an Fan-Based sequel? It seems to be the only way we're going to get one.

I now Working on an (Mirror's Edge 2)
with the Unity Engine
You're ahead of me then.
On a happier note, the official ME2 might be the next release from DICE after Battlefield 4.
Oops! Sorry, that was me.
I would love to make something big with the editor, but it needs some cheat ways like external light baker to make it professionnal. Making a fan-Based sequel witthout the same game assets and with new ideas.
Inspiration not copying.
I'm not sure if using the editor is a good idea. From what I've read, it overrides the original game data if you do that. I'd rather make something from the ground up using UDK or Unity3D (I'm researching and practicing with some Unity scripts right now) so that additional functionality can be added in; ie Faith escaping a building via parachute in a homage to the crane jump.
If you are doing UDK sign me up!
Also i know abit of unity, and i can allways test. SIGN ME UP!
True, I'm more in making props, maps and test them in the ME editor, but they can be used elsewhere like in UDK.
Not the good place to talk about that, if you want a guy in your team you can send me a PM.
I've been working on game docs for something a la Star Trek: Phoenix aka the Ascension Project. I'll let you know if I get enough done to start such a project.
If anyone is still wondering, I posted my first concept doc here Moddb.com, to see what kind of feedback I can get.
