Mafia is a 3D action game, played in the third person. The player assumes the role of a gangster in an American city of the 1930s, and gets a chance to live through gangster's rise and fall. In a spell-binding story of human hunger for power, he will experience everything that was taking place in the underworld during this stormy period: high-speed car chases, bootlegging, assassinations, and bank robberies.
We set the story in a huge, fully-functional city, created 60 vehicles to choose from and more than 20 missions filled with non-stop action. The gameplay does not end there with over 40 little and large mods available, this game is great!

What I can tell you now is that you will be in a closed world. That's what life behind bars is all about, isn't it? Apart from your cell, which you will share with your cellmate who calls himself Mickey the Lumberjack, you will have a lot of interactions and side quests in each chapter.

Hello all, I can't find a mod where the car preview thumbnails from car selector for freeride are in higher resolution, that mod exists or it still needs to be made?

This is nothing like GTA, it's a realistic game with a very serious tone, also you can tell the developers were in love with cars in general.
It's a pretty hard game too, I still remember covering behind walls and scanning the area nervously as to not get instakilled by tommy-gunners, and don't get me started on that racing mission too :)

Hello,well first of all thanks for the great mods that give us a new feel of the game but there's something I want to ask I've been trying to use x360ce because I want to use the xbox 360 controller in mafia but there has been a problem.Everytime I try to set up the x360ce but there has been this error.
"Error game patch"
then after that,all the mods have been disabled.
I don't know why and I hope someone can help.
