Step into the shadows of a bygone era in "Lost Reality," a gripping first-person adventure set in 20th century Europe. Unravel dark mysteries as you navigate through haunting environments, using your wits and an array of tools at your disposal. With an immersive day and night cycle, each moment brings new challenges and secrets to uncover.
In "Lost Reality," you are not just an observer but an active participant in the story. Investigate cryptic letters, inspect curious objects, and interact with a richly detailed world. Whether you are quietly sneaking through the shadows, unlocking hidden passages, or deciphering the clues left behind, every action moves you closer to the truth.
Feel the tension mount as you open creaking doors, manipulate the environment, and use everything from levers to radios to light your way. Engage in intense encounters with a trusty pistol, where every shot counts, and experience the thrill of causing tangible effects in the world around you.
Take control of various vehicles, capturing the essence of the era, as you transition from foot to wheel, seamlessly integrating third-person driving mechanics. And when the moment calls for it, pull out your character’s vintage camera to document your journey, or rely on the glow of a lantern, torch, or lighter to guide you through the darkness.
"Lost Reality" is not just a game but an atmospheric dive into a lost world, where every corner hides a story, every shadow conceals a secret, and every decision could be your last. Can you survive the night and uncover the hidden truths of a forgotten time?
We've improved the game's starting houses to be more polished and have a smoother appearance. We are also improving their functionality, so that the player can open doors, climb onto roofs, as well as many other interactions.
During the process we discovered that we will have to redo a large part of our modular kit, but this will be a good thing, as it will give us new possibilities. We are working on our assets so we can build new types of houses, and even castles. In the latter case, we are taking inspiration from the castles of Europe and the castles from the Wolfstein 3D mod "Brutal Wolfstein". It will be implemented as far as possible. In many games from the last generation, the houses and buildings in the scenery were single 3D models, which did not allow for much interaction and sometimes there was no way to even enter the houses. We are striving to do something different, and allow the player to interact and explore the map much more.
