Lego Island 2: Brickster's Revenge remastered using Nvidia's RTX-Remix.
Version 1.0
Installation Instructions:
1.) (Recommended) Install JeffRuLz's LI2's Mod Manager to patch and apply custom resolution to Lego Island 2. Ensure that you are able to launch the game after applying JeffRulz's patches.
2.) Download this mod and extract. Place the contents of LegoIsland2RTX's folder inside Lego Island 2's main game directory.
3.) Launch game & enjoy <3
Known Issues:
-In the jungle plane level, the timers speed for the planes fuel is influenced by how fast the games FPS is going. If you're running out of fuel before you're able to to fly past fuel, press alt+x to open up the rtx-remix menu and change the DLSS settings to "Quality". If "Quality" is still not getting you to the fuel, go into the General tab of the rtx-remix menu and select "Full Resolution". This will slow down the timer and allow you to complete the level.
-In the Medieval level at the end where you use the cannons to defeat The Brickster, you're unable to see through some of the cannons. If you're unable to defeat the level because of this, press alt+x to open up the RTX-Remix menu, and navigate to Categorize Textures. Move your mouse over the cannon and select "Hide Texture". This will consequently remove some of the other cannons textures, and may effect the game down the line. You can always "unhide" these textures later after the fight.

I'm doing something wrong here, but I'm not sure what. are you supposed to create the "LegoIsland2/rtx-remix/mods/" folder in the game's main directory then unzip the zip file into it?
Hey, thanks for trying out the mod! Have you installed rtx-remix onto your game? Here's the link to the latest stable version Github.com
You'll unzip that, and drop it into your Lego Island 2 main directory. From there, it should provide the rtx-remix folder. The rtx-remix folder might not have the mods folder already, so you'll just create a "mods" folder, and drop the LegoIsland2RTX inside that folder. I'll update the instructions to reflect to make a mods folder if one isn't created :)
I downloaded the latest rtx-remix release and extracted it to the games main directory but the only new folder that was created was a .trex folder. It didnt have an "rtx-remix" folder.
Ahh I see, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I've updated the download and the instructions, it's now more streamlined. You simply extract the download, and drag and drop the files inside of the LegoIsland2RTX folder into Lego Island 2's main game directory. Everything should be ready to go! :)
I'm unfortunately still having bad luck i unzipped it into the game's main directory. I even disabled all mods from the mod manager just in case there was some sort of conflict but still no luck. the game itself works great but the rtx remix mod doesnt seem to want to hook into the game.
Sorry about that, I think I found the problem. There must've been an issue with the wrapper - I've reapplied a fresh wrapper onto the download, go ahead and try it now.
That's the one! this is great. I love seeing all these RTX mods popping up. Keep up the good work!
