Legends of Middle-earth is a complete conversion mod for AoM: Extended Edition, which requires the DLC! It features 5 playable campaigns, and 16 new civilizations based on The Lord of the Rings. AI is (mostly) fully functional, allowing players to go head-to head in Random Maps single player, and multiplayer. There is also a profoundly expanded editor, with over 800 new units, featuring over 2,000 models, textures, and animations. Almost every new unit has its own unique model and animation list.

This Moddb benchmark version is also not constrained to a filesize upload like the Steam workshop, so textures have been restored to their original size, making many of the game's textures higher quality than that of the workshop version.
