A well-made rendition of the original, which I first played in the Project: Quantum Leap map pack, Caged is a short but fun map with some cool attention to detail and dark humor.
This mod is just creative all-in-all. Everything about it including the gameplay, dinos, and overall quality just really convey the amazing nature of this mod. Good job, Zerer and his team!

Finally some proper ***'n guns! I really wish Quake 1 shotgun and super shotgun were like these. And the chaingun feels even better than it does in Quake 2! And of course you just can't beat that sweet sound and feel of Q2 grenade launcher - perfection. If only this had muzzle flash and compatibility with missions packs/custom maps...
This mod is better than Half-Life: Xen's Horror (aka Half-Life: Dumpsterfire Horror)
Fun game! Love the style, although the maps need more variety. It is mostly just dark castles.

While running on the GoldSource engine, this total conversion mod is sure to cause some scares, whether by little pop-up figures, or horrific model edits based on the original Half-Life NPCs, plus the Aphex Twin music is quite the nice touch usage-wise.
[This entry is definitely the best AvP game, atmospheric, lore packed, action packed and content packed. A very well made game that is still super fun to this day, if your an AvP fan you'll love this game.]
Pros:
-Tons of content
-Every main species has their own campaign and story so it will feel fresh for each campaign
-Every species lore is well respected and expanded upon except for maybe the xenomorph
-Very fun gameplay
-Long campaigns
-Gameplay is very immersive
Cons:
-On higher difficulties the game can be very frustrating.
-Gameplay can be repetitive sometimes.
-levels can feel dragged out sometimes.

This is one of best zombie survival games...
Reloverdose очень хорошо перебалансирует оригинальный Overdose и дополняет его новым контентом, видно что была выполнена большая работа.
Играется вполне приятно и интересно, оружейный пак был доработан и перебалансирован, геймплей хорошо дополнен и местами переделан, да и большинство проблем и багов самого Overdose были исправлены.
Из необычного весьма были интересны всякие пасхалочки и приколюшки, что в целом уместно учитывая атмосферу и самого ГГ Overdose, но иногда автор с этим немного перебарщивал.
Подбор музыки вышел интересным и необычным, большинство композиций очень хорошо подобраны, но некоторые из них были совершенно не в тему не только относительно самого уровня, но и в целом по стилю игры.
Что не понравилось: режим Демона стал куда бесполезнее из-за уменьшенного времени прибывания в нём, и местами автор ограничил его использование, что как по мне очень странно и сомнительно. Также на момент выхода модификации багов было мало, но краши сейвов в паре уровней подпортили впечатление, но в версии 1.2 уже множество проблем пофикшено.
В общем мод очень хорош и рекомендую к прохождению!

Quite the tram ride opening. Gratuitous outdoor shots with lots to look at.
Atmospheric and gripping, particularly the naked start. Somber soundscapes to set the stage. Urgent sirens blaring...
But the first outdoor section seems badly optimized. Brought my 2021 Surface Laptop to its knees lmao
Plenty of NPC interaction, yet still manages to evoke heavy feelings of solitude in this hopeless hellscape.
Does a nice job making zombie combat exciting. Employs restraint in introducing human combat, but there's never a dull moment while we patiently wait.
Quite enjoyed the assassin intro. It was intriguing fighting turrets alongside black ops. Simultaneously the fastest and slowest enemies. Gotta be careful to avoid falling into the meatgrinder!
Decently linear. Great game to play while baked because there's little thinking or remembering involved, but the tense atmosphere is on point.
Slow burn. Occasionally plodding pacing that makes this best played in small, but frequent, bursts.
HECU intro was on point. I always appreciate when a mod crafts an entrance for a new enemy. It doesn't just dump you in a room with soldiers out of the blue. There's whiffs and plenty of build-up. Gets me expecting. Anticipating. Exciting.

I keep forgetting this is an Opposing Force mod. Just feels so classic Half-Life.
That Gargantua/Grunt fight was TOUGH. Died a few times and had to dig deep to pull out a win. Ammo getting scarce... but what do we have here? Grenades?
Bro that helicopter sequence was brutal. What the fack. Game difficulty just spiked massively.
Blue balls with that ending. You follow the classic Valve chopper formula, but no opportunity to take it down? And then the game just... ends?
Had a few flaws and some pacing problems, but it was a lot of fun. Feels simultaneously fresh and familiar. Mapping was exquisite and level design was mostly on point. Doesn't quite deserve a 9, but it definitely deserves an average rating of 8+, so hopefully this helps.

Only issues I had was that Wills Woods is a little choppy in frames, and most maps only have 1-2 spawn points.
Otherwise it's pretty good, but I didn't have a favoured map, since they're all kinda bland, but they do kinda feel like Carnivores 1 maps sorta so that's cools :thumbs_up:
I'm personally not a fan of the Buckshot revolver, the auto pistol nor the shotgun or sniper rifle, but they work for hunting so no need to fix them.
honestly a pretty decent version of gmod 12, older versions werent all that great though
