Thanks again for letting me use your MBWS pack in my project. Unfortunately, it might have to be put on hold. It seems Doom Eternal's sound injector is still too underdeveloped to reliably replace most weapon samples in the game. I'm also having trouble finding a good .ogg to .opus converter, and Audacity just makes the samples cut out in-game.
At the very least, you can see the first real attempt I made here:
Maybe this works like Left 4 Dead 2 where the sound timings have to be the same otherwise it cuts out.
Unless there's already a mod that successfully replaces the sounds with longer timings.
I've worked on it a bit more and I got the precision bolt SFX working perfectly. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out what's wrong with the primary fire as it alternates between the vanilla sample and the MBWS MP5. I replaced every relevant file in the soundbank so maybe I'll have to wait for a more advanced injector tool in the future or something.
Hey, just wanted to let you know that they were able to get a better sound injector working in Doom Eternal so I was able to port all the sounds over.
I'm not happy with how some of these sounds turned out. It looks like ID used some kind of low-pass filter and volume limiting for the weapon sounds so they don't drown out the music. I still couldn't get the Heavy Cannon working right, either. Thanks anyway for letting me try using your sounds, though. I'll most likely end up keeping the SPAS-12 sounds and maybe the silenced Glock for Micro Missiles.
Is that Monika as your PFP? :O
Sure is.
Awesome!! It really is nice seeing a Fellow DDLC Fan in these parts ^w^

Maybe there's another sound that's being layered on top of the regular one to add more beefyness to it. Look around?

It sure is interesting.
Nice arrangement you got here!
Thanks!
Tried to also add some ambient music but **** don't work no more.
