This may be a stupid question, but if I use the updated modded exes from Github, and I don't use the Duty expansion or screen space shaders add-ons, will it cause a problem? Just curious, as I don't see an option available without them.

да - удалить их в gamedata\configs\items\items\anims_list.ltx

а и правда, прописал кам инерт 0, и всё исправилось, прикол, забавно что вроде я не трогал этот параметр никогда, гг

Long time ago, in last update in comm section there was a problem with crashing when starts sleep and there were solution with that. With this update the problem were back, and i don't remember what the solution is. I only remember edit the .script.

Когда-то давно, в комментах на прошлом апдейте ответили решением на проблему краша перед сном - сейчас обновил и всё вернулось, а решение кануло в пучины и я его совсем не помню. Помню лишь, что что-то редактировалось в скриптовом файле.

Was that bug fixed where sometimes pulling out the backpack can glitch softlocking your game/all keyboard inputs? Had that happen a little bit ago and it killed my permadeath run.
there wasn't bug "where sometimes pulling out the backpack can glitch softlocking your game/all keyboard inputs" this happens if something broke engine which freezes lua so time events stop working, so it's not a bug of FDDA, it's a symptom of something fuckuped your game.
With that said, any simple explanation or hint to help me find what causes that? (total noob, sorry for the trouble)

Hello, i been doing some testing and this whole "getting softlock after perfoming an action such as opening inventory or buchering an animal" only seems to happen when you install the mod and play with it in an already existing save, so start a new game to avoid getting softlocked.
there is nothing in addon that depends on game progress so starting new game makes no sence, the reason why it "fix" things to you is that some of your addons brakes your game at some point which freezes time events and brakes fdda.
This happens to me if I use a mod that makes the backpack open the inventory instantly and allows the player to keep running when opening it. If you press "Esc" while the animation is still playing it will cause this issue. Try get in the habit of press "I" to close the inventory rather than using "Esc". I still disabled the backpack animation for another reason, but I cannot remember what it was. I think it was using an item (like bandage) while the backpack animation is still playing causes the same issue. I didn't have the discipline to wait for the animation to finish before using items so I turned off the backpack animation.

Wrong, you can use modded or vanilla 1.5.2 exes in a 1.5.1 anomaly and it will run just fine without CTDs, unless ofc it requires some file from 1.5.2 in order to work and not on only the engine bins. Also that CTD is related to DLTX FDDA Extra Animations addon.
I'm trying to wrap my head around this, can I still use the latest version of this with 1.5.1? I use the modded EXE from SSS if thats worth mentioning.

fomod это установщик, и мод прекрасно устанавливается через МО-2

EDIT. Fixed it by disabling Asnens and groks better cig animation that was for the previous version of FDDA
it's not related to asnen's cig animation at all, you using some outdated third party FDDA mod
well, I was using cig animations from GAMMA that were made some months ago. disabling it made the game run just fine so I dunno what else it could be. its the only possible cause
