A GZdoom TC mod based entirely on fallout series, specially on Fallout 3.
If you want to help and you have experience in zdoom modding, you can send:
-Maps, in UDMF that are fallout themed, like an abandoned building, a raider base, etc.
-Sprites for any enemy or NPC, in png and with 5 rotations and please tell me what is it.
-Any Fallout 3/NV weapon sprites, centred and in png.
-Ideas for the story or missions.

Demo 0.7: Pretty big update. RPG mechanics. If things go like planned, next one will have maps based on real locations.

this has potential but.... there is ALOT that needs to be done for this to work
honestly any video game can be remade into GZDoom. just with enough people, work and engine tricks it can work

The link is down sadly.. how are you. .I was hoping for a small update. I don't know if doing a full blown RPG isn't a bit too much. I would love to see that being done by you but am worried it's too much alone. Doing a semi open world dungeon crawler RPG would be easier.
One hub world with 5-10 different dungeons you can visit repeatedly. Maybe with multiple stages .
RPG system (we have those already even universal)
Inventory system, trader and quest giver .
You start in the vault and then travel to the bandid outpost, fight , get captured and the safed by a ground of minute man or the brotherhood or who knows who.
Then go to the town and get jobs..
'Clear out sewers' ,'Clear out the bandid hideout' and so on.. rinse and repeat level up and gain new gear

Should be based soleley on Fallout 1&2 IMO
Maybe you're right, but there are concepts from the original games that I think may not be the best options, like some of the weapons(Laser Rifle and 10mm Pistol) and I think are better like their 3/NV counterparts. Anyways, I wanted to take concepts that I think fit the game, like FNV speech checks, which I think are waaay better than just random and can require certain skills, or the cave rats from FO1/2 that I think can work pretty well for gameplay.
You could recreate it if you'd like .we already have energy weapons in doom mods .
I used fallout 3 weapons ontop of your mod with a bunch of graphical add-ons and it was amazing .
