Triad special forces, Blitzguard
Fast and agile, it deals a lot of damage. The Blitzguard, part of the Triad special forces, is the elite among the enemy forces. Beware of him!
The description of the original RotT specification includes the following note:
"Guards - I think we've seen these. Now they have purple uniforms, if we have palette room."
But the Guard is already here. It was in the first RotT prototype from September. And it is gray in color. That's why I thought that the purple color could be given to Blitzguard, as an elite Triad unit.
Because the description of Blitzguard in the original specification reads:
"Blitzguard - Fast guards, more damage. Appears in 1. Could use same graphics, or add armband or helmet change."
It would be the same and use the same graphics. I prefer them to have two different graphics.
The sprites I used are by Majik Monkee. I just changed the colors a bit to make it not too pink.
Watch out for him

Changing the colors of the color palette
During the creation of this modification, the colors of the color palette were changed at least three times. I will show it on a few examples.
As everyone knows, the modification is created in cooperation with Thandor. Based on his modifications, we started creating the current version. And here was the first change in the colors of the palette.
Another change occurred due to the blue color of some elements. Without this change, this blue wouldn't be what it is.
Then the colors of the Blitzguard changed. The darker color suits the game's atmosphere better. Now it's actually purple, not pink.
The difference is small, but it looks better in the game.
The colors responsible for the floors, walls and ceilings have also changed.
The color of the gunshot has also been changed. I followed the original specifications.
Then I corrected the blue. From the left: 1 - original version by Majik Monkee, 2 - version after the first change of palette colors, 3 - final version with improved palette, 4 - original from the prototype from November 1993.
It's all for today. The demo version is coming! All files are ready to be shared, everything has been checked. This week the demo will be released.
