Blindside's Anomaly Weapon Reanimation Pack
"Loner"
Part 1 of a complete weapon reanimation and rebalance pack for Anomaly.
"Loner" - focusing mainly on early-game and common weapons found in the Zone.
The goal of this mod is to provide an enhanced experience to the vanilla arsenal complete with new animations, weapon balancing and stat tweaks, and addition of jamming and firemode select animations.
***IMPORTANT NOTES***
- This was designed for 0.4 HUD FOV and supports up to 0.5. Going higher may lead to undesired results.
- This pack is not completed and only replaces the weapons listed below.
- This mod is still in development and may contain bugs or errors.
- Playing with "Enhanced Recoil Effect" option is not recommended when using my weapons.

Is this mod compatible with X mod?
Idk. Maybe. Probably not. I have no intentions of making the mod compatible with every other addon out there, however the scope of the project is simple and should be easy for anyone to make their own compatibility patches.

Nice animations. Pump action shotgun recoil looks kinda ridiculous though.
I understand some people may feel this way, though it was done on purpose, as shotguns are kinda overpowered in Anomaly. Each weapon was tweaked to be used in certain situations. I may release an optional patch that lowers them, along with other optional patches.
You say the shotguns are OP, yet you increased their fire rate from 60 to 90 RPM on pump actions :D Which is realistic I admit.
Also with Mossberg 590 and Remington 870 you don't pump the shell in after a full reload.
Please keep up the good work, this mod has big potential.

Unfortunately this is a feature yet. I avoided the "pump after every reload". When/if there is a proper empty reload feature for Anomaly, I will include the pump. I already have the animation for it.
Unless you chamber a round, you do have pump a round in after reloading.
Blindside,they are overpowered because the amount each tiny little pellet does is ridiculous.IMHO shotguns should be made so that when you add up damage from all the pellets at once you match around a sniper rifles damage or maybe slightly above.The way it is now you take a shot from distance and even one pellet hits and your doing more damage than a standard AK.

Yes you are right nerf them to **** so that they can only be used against dead crows, shotguns are in a good position right now if anything the devs should take a look at 308 rifles so that they do more damage than 5.56 wich as of right now they really dont, its unrealistic and dumb.

YES!! this is what Anomaly needs, we don't need more weapons, just an update to the ones we already have and some different animations for different variations of the same weapons, the animations are perfect! can't wait to see all the guns reworked" :D
I love the fact that the player uses the stock for the skorpion now! plz make sure the MP7 also has it's stock extended when you finally get to making it :D
i also really like how the more modern AK's get a different animation, and how when reloading AK's you can see the full weapon sideways, and the other side for maximum gunnut satisfaction xD

I will give the MP7 some love for sure.
Oh this makes me happy, the MP7 is my fav in the game but it feels sooo.... outdated look and such atm, im totaly looking foward to when you update it with your MOD!
Awesome to hear about the MP7, though I really hope you'll change it to its' proper 4.6mm ammo and not have it continue using 9mm rounds like in vanilla Anomaly, which is pretty friggin' weird. Thank you!

So I guess that "Weapons Position and Views" is incompatible too.
Probably the answer is "no it's not", of course, but you never know...
I don't want to speak for Blindside but in my opinion he put all of the work into his mod to significantly raise the value of vanilla Anomaly and not to be mixed around with different weapon aesthetics and viewmodels that wouldn't visually work well together anyways.
Yeah that's fair, I can understand that. I'm still gonna try this addon, it's not a big deal playing without WPV. Plus these animations look really cool, it would be a shame not to be able to use the other one, when they'll come out.
I am glad he made the weapons lower as stalkers hip fire and it makes sense for me.Pretty sure someone will add CEMENT positions as a patch.
Well I am keeping it vanilla so it SHOULD be compatible with most other mods -- I just can't guarantee it and don't plan on making changes for every mod out there that players use.

So nice to actually be able to enjoy AKs in stalker again. Been playing Anomaly for a year and half and I've never been able to stand 90% of them due to the reloads.

COOL MOD I LIKED
Great animations, the left thumb with the aps animations is a little wonky and stretchy with some suits though. Notably the ISRIT Guard Jumpsuit.
EDIT: actually it looks like all your pistol animations do this, and after uninstalling I think it might be more an issue with that jumpsuit hands model's rigging than your anims because it's wonky in vanilla too
Yeah, some of the arm meshes have messed up thumbs.
