Ages of the Federation is a new total conversion mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. This mod takes place in the Enterprise and Original series eras, focusing on the conflict between the early Federation and Klingon Empire. A resurgent Romulan Star Empire, angry and still licking its wounds after their defeat to Earth and her allies waits in the shadows, ready to take advantage of any of misstep by either the warring powers. The Xindi, new to the galactic stage are also eager to forge their own path.

We've been overjoyed that so many of you have so happily embraced the Romulan faction again.
That said, we've been made aware of a number of issues with 2.04 - most notably an issue with the Coalition faction that leads to a crash.
As always, your feedback has been absolutely invaluable, and we've raced to put together a solution that should fix the most egregious problems, the Coalition-crash included.
Introducing AOTF v2.05. It's a much smaller update but should make all factions playable once more. Check the changelog for a full list of fixes.Click the DOWNLOAD NOW button below to take you to the proper link.

How do you build the Klingon Elite Command Academy after researching it? Also, i think there is a bug that when you pick the House of Kor, when you research Kang and Koloth with all the needed fleet and command points, they dont spawn in.
The V2 of AOTF has become my most played mod. I love the feel of the Coalition and how different each member's ships feel. Will carriers and shuttles/fighters make a return in a future update?

The Coalition faction as a player seems to crash early on it the game (around 10-15 minute mark), the other factions are stable. Just thought you guys might want to know.
As long as you lower the settings, you can play for a whole day without crashing
We have a hotfix on the way in the next couple days to address this.

Cannot get 10 minutes into a game without crashing..
you need to turn the settings down the game engine is hitting its limit with the things they added there is some instructions on the discord on whats best to lower.
