In the Year 2199, Earth was attacked by the Gamilas Empire, Earth was nearly defeated if not for the valiant efforts of the Space Battleship Yamato and her crew. The Yamato and crew would then face many foes over the next five years, nearly facing destruction at every turn. You play as the Commanding General of the United Nations Cosmo Navy during what became known as The Five Years of Fire. In this total conversion mod, you will be able to chose playing as the EDF, Galman Empire, Gatlantis Comet Empire, Bolar Federation, or The Dark Nebulan Empire as you battle across space. Will you take command of the mighty Yamato and protect the Earth or work to bring about the absolute domination of the Galaxy?

So, i'm willing to give this game a try, i just have one question, there's no anime voices or crap in this is there?
Considering this is an anime based mod...I think you may be searching in the wrong location.
Just the other day I thought: Man, besides from a Babylon 5 mod, a Star Blazers mod would be wonderful for Sins. And I see the progress going on now and I couldn't be more excited. You're doing incredible work!! I've been watching the original series and rewatching the new stuff plenty of times so it feels like a dream come true.
Though, are you planning on designing Gamilan dreadnoughts to be based on 2202 or on 2199? Imo 2199 dreadnoughts were so much better the new designs look so weird.
While the dreadnaughts in the 2199/2202 version were definitely more flashy and cool, we're still deciding on overall designs for Gamilas right now. Once we get to their artwork we'll definitely have an answer for you, for now we're focused on the UNCF Faction!
That's fair! Are you going to hold off on finishing the project though until the Dark Nebulan Empire has a revamp for the new series or forge on ahead and wait for it later? I'm not too fussed on what the answer is there haha, just excited. I can't wait to have and play this mod. Hopefully no spanners in the works!
Well given we’re three months in now and only have a handful of ships finished and haven’t even touched the coding aspect yet outside of music changes, we believe we’ll have plenty of time to see the new designs for the remake Dark Nebula AND Bolar Fleets. Even so, we plan to incorporate them later if needs be. Stay tuned for more UNCF in the coming days!
