Opened in 1860 and operated by Barton, Wagner & West in Stillfell, Wales. East Mine was from day one a problem child for it's operators, thanks to subpar yields, continuously failing equipment and a high accident rate. The facility soon changed hands in 1865 to Bedlam Mining Co., a private equipment manufacturer who offered to overhaul the facility and address safety issues, as well as keep the original crews working.
Reports of yields after Bedlam's acquisition did not emerge, nor did the miners.
Bedlam had reportedly instructed crews to sleep on site, running the facility as if it were an archeological dig, employing rotating shifts to keep the men working around the clock, whilst not giving the men any clear indication of what exactly they were supposed to extract.
In 1871, Bedlam Mining Co. abruptly commenced a complete evacuation of the site and ordered the facility to be closed off for good.

I don't see why people think this game is scary honestly.
Maybe because you haven't played the game yet?
I don't know where to go with my idea but what would you guys think about an Amnesia: TDD port on Android? I mean it's a dream to play this awesome horror game in my bed before going to sleep... =P
so what about a ATDD Mobile? They even got Half-Life Xash3d on android.. HL2 is already on android and with a simple trick you could play HL2 on any android device! On the Motorola Moto G 2 I got 30fps-60fps on it for example.
So a 200€ device could handle Amnesia I guess... god please I would love the person working on such a project!

Amazing game. Had already seen some gameplay before I bought the game and it was STILL incredibly scary. Even beyond that, the story was great and it also made me realize how much no cut scenes time jumps etc..., helps immerse the player.
