In the Year 2199, Earth was attacked by the Gamilas Empire, Earth was nearly defeated if not for the valiant efforts of the Space Battleship Yamato and her crew. The Yamato and crew would then face many foes over the next five years, nearly facing destruction at every turn. You play as the Commanding General of the United Nations Cosmo Navy during what became known as The Five Years of Fire. In this total conversion mod, you will be able to chose playing as the EDF, Galman Empire, Gatlantis Comet Empire, Bolar Federation, or The Dark Nebulan Empire as you battle across space. Will you take command of the mighty Yamato and protect the Earth or work to bring about the absolute domination of the Galaxy?

Update?
We're still alive and kicking! We post more "real time" updates on our Discord server than here on ModDB. ModDB is going to be for MAJOR updates regarding the mod such as faction completion, gameplay videos, and releases.

Space Battleship Yamato is one of my and friends favorite Syfi franchises of all time. (I even cosplayed as our favorite ruler of Gamilas Abelt Dessler) My Friends and I ALWAYS wanted to make a Mod of SBY in Sins and tried, but sadly we did not know how to make mods for Sins, so we gave up and moved along, and one of my friends is a hardcore Modder on Halo CE. I saw the date of the recent Update I was so happy that it was not a dead mod like so many mods in ModDB. I have so much hope for this and may be interested of helping, I am a amateur VA and I knows some other VAs. Also I have friends that are 3d Modelers that always wanted to model the ships from Yamato Database (The ones not used and the used too)
