Carnivores 2 is a first person hunting game. You can hunt 9 species of extinct dinosaurs such as the Velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus Rex. including 6 weapons and 5 huge hunting areas, Carnivores 2 is quite a big and entertaining game for hunters.

Hey guys! New here. Can't believe there's a community for this amazing game. Quick question, what is the difference between an addon and a mod? I'm looking to download some of them
A mod is a game, and an addon is either a map, weapon, or creature that you can "add" into a mod to replace something else.
For example, Jurassic Park Hunter, Far North, & Fallen Kings are mods because they are their own game.
For example, the crowbar, the lost city, & liopleurodon are addons because you can add them into C2 or C:IA to replace or add to the assets of the base game.
As of right now, you can have up to 8 weapons & 8 maps in a C2 or Ice Age mod. The game only come with 6 weapons and 5 maps by default, so technically you could add two more weapons and three more maps. However, you can replace any map or weapon in that line-up.
As for creatures, in the original games, if you want to add in new creatures, you have to replace the creature with its respective AI. For example, Cactus's Iguanodon is on Chasmosaurus AI so you would have to replace the Chasmosaurus file with the Iguanodon file. However, with the Modder's Edition Engine, more animals can be added in as map ambients. Not all creatures are MEE compatible, but all aquatic creatures require the MEE.
